Introducing "The Skyrider" - a new class of seating BELOW economy...



The new saddle seat is being offered to budget airlines by an Italian company called Avioninterios.

0 H- K9 a/ R4 K# sThis 'seat' comes with 58cm (23in) of leg room compared to 76cm (30in) you get in a standard economy seat.

These can also only be used on flights lasting less than 3 hours...

3 HOURS?!?! I'd be begging to be let out and walk after 15 minutes!

; W/ ]+ {" w) Y4 zTray issues aside for the ... more ample people on the flight, i'm 6'4", and find that my legs are just a smidge longer than 30in which is annoying - especially when the woman in front with head phones on reclines her seat and forces my kneecaps to end up somewhere mid thigh... but i digress.

These seats seem to be dependant on your legs being at an angle – the lady in the flowery shirt can’t be that tall – so if I sat there with my longer legs… wouldn’t my seat have to be higher?
